Are we there yet?

Life is meant to be challenging. At every turn no matter where we are headed, there will be either obstacles or opportunities in front of us but it all depends on how we view it. Maintaining a positive mindset is something that takes practice and determination, we can have a “when it rains, it pours mentality” or we can learn to actually dance in the rain and make the most of the moment.

We have the ability to shape our own outcomes and this ability comes from the way we choose to be on the inside. How we see life is a direct reflection of the beauty or the turmoil we have on the inside. How we see ourselves is how we will experience life. If we are completely accepting of ourselves and our circumstances, life will find away to work with us to give us the outcome that we ultimately desire.

Our reality has nothing to do with the hand we were dealt or outside influences but all to do with what we allow to continue. We all have the power to change how our story will go but it starts with having purpose and being deliberate with our thoughts and actions. Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens because of you and once you realize this, your life will immediately begin to transform.

Sense of direction and purpose are the key foundational components that each human being must have if they are to reach their final destination. When you know exactly where you are going, everything else along the way will add to your happiness, so instead of seeing obstacles, you see opportunities. A positive optimistic view about what ever happens to you, can turn a hurdle into a learning opportunity. Life is ultimately about growth and growing into the person that can handle all of the things that you want to accomplish.

    1. Thank you so much for the feed back. Forgive me for the delay, I took some much needed time away from my blog. I firmly believe that growth will occur in the areas in where we challenge ourselves to be more and do more.

      1. Of course I forgive you :). I like taking a hiatus from blogging every now and then. What I love the most is that no matter how long you are away, you can always come back and pick up where you left off. Take care.
