So you want to be a millionaire?

Have you ever heard someone say, ” I deserve                   (fill in the blank) because…? ” We all at some point have met or know a person that has stated that the life they live or are living is not what they deserve. If we desire something or wish to change something, we must first be honest with ourselves. In this life, we are not rewarded the living conditions we wish to have or the things we want based on good morals and good intentions.

The amazing thing about each and everything single one of us that has breath, is that we have the power to have what we want and to live exactly as we choose…all we have to do is go out into the world and find a way to get it. We get what we want by creating value within ourselves first. We must first be valuable, before we can be given what we “think” we are worth. No amount of money can be attributed to the true value of any human life, but for the sake of this discussion, we have to build ourselves up to receive what we believe we are worth.

This is why self-education is so important. Its one thing to go to school to receive a formal education but it is not the same as self education. A formal education will get you paid an employees wage, self education will get you paid what you are worth. Self education is what sets you apart from receiving an employee’s salary. You have to offer something extraordinarily valuable in order to be rewarded with extraordinary things or an extraordinary lifestyle. Also, if you want your circle of friends and associates to change for the better, you have to have something to offer those types of individuals that you would like to build with.

Negative people associate with negative people, and positive people with positive people. You have to be vibrating on the same frequency as the people and things you want in your life. What I mean by this is that you must think, you must feel, you must talk, you must “be” as if you already are that type of person and as if you already have that lifestyle. You show up to a job interview dressed the part for the position that you want right? You wouldn’t show up dressed as a janitor if you wanted to be the CEO right?  The same it must be in your everyday life on the regular basis, not just on days when you feel good. A millionaire still carries him or herself as one, even on their worst day when they don’t feel like one, because they already ARE a millionaire.

The only thing that is holding you back is that you don’t believe that you already ARE what ever it is that you ultimately desire to be. You aren’t operating or vibrating at that frequency inwardly, and your outer world can only reflect what you are inwardly. Once you vibrate on the frequency of what ever it is you want, it comes. What you want is already yours. Whether it be dressing the part, reading books on personal development, reading biographies on people who have traits you desire to cultivate; you must feed your mind and create value in order to be and have what you want.

  1. I love the idea of a person taking responsibility for what they want. So many people have an “external locus of control,” meaning they feel that stuff just happens to them and they are powerless. Not true! We always have choices! Great post.

    1. I definitely believe the same thing. Even when outside circumstances happen, we always have control over how we react. We can either allow the situation to fold us or we can use it to our advantage. I firmly believe that we have control over everything that happens to us and I believe it begins with how we think and how we choose to look at the situation. Thank you for your feedback, peace and love to you!

    2. Thank you for your feed back Kelly and please forgive me for the delay. I took some much needed time away from my blog. I firmly believe in taking responsibility for every action and every circumstance that happens to us (more so the negative) because in doing that we have the power to shape our circumstance to make it work for us.
